Rodney William Eugênio, ou Pai Rodney de Oxóssi, é antropólogo e professor. Graduou-se em Ciências Sociais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC SP - em 1997, instituição na qual também recebeu o título de Mestre em Gerontologia e onde atualmente cursa o Doutorado em Ciências Sociais com ênfase em Antropologia.
Há mais de 20 anos, Pai Rodney de Oxóssi atua como pesquisador nas áreas de relações raciais e religiões de matrizes africanas. Filho de santo de Pai Pérsio de Xangô e babalorixá do Ilê Obá Ketu Axé Omi Nlá em São Paulo, seguindo fiel a seus herdeiros e ao Axé Batistini, no qual possui o posto de Omowê.
